Log-on procedure

The log-on procedure for the Desjardins Bank Online Banking service has been designed to meet the highest possible information security standards allowing you to make your transactions in complete security.

Configuring your security settings

The first time you log on to the Desjardins Bank Online Banking service, you will be asked to configure your security settings. Important: No e-mail will be forwarded to you asking you to configure your settings or change your configuration.

Configuring your security settings consists of 3 steps:

Confirming the e-mail address registered in your file.
Creating a personal phrase and memorizing an image.
Selecting 3 questions and entering the answers.

You will then have the option of registering your computer. This enables the system to recognize the computer you usually use to log on to Desjardins Bank Online Banking.

When you first configure your security settings, the system will randomly assign an image to you. You can later change this image at any time. Simply go the page that gives you access to your account and click on Change Password.

By using this log-on procedure, you protect your personal information by ensuring you are connected to the genuine Desjardins Bank Online Banking site.

When you next log on and enter your user code, the system will display your personal phrase and image:

If you log on from a computer that has not been registered, you'll be asked to answer one of the questions you selected when configuring your security settings:
